Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the website, maintain secure login sessions, remember preferences, support trusted-device functionality, prevent fraud, analyze traffic, and, where enabled, support advertising activities.
Essential cookies are necessary for services such as login, session security, and account protection. Other cookies may support analytics or advertising. You can control cookies through your browser and any consent controls we make available. Disabling essential cookies may prevent login or other account features from working correctly.
Google Analytics
We may use Google Analytics 4 to help us understand how visitors use our website. A standard Google
Analytics implementation may collect session statistics, approximate location, browser and device
information, referring sources, pages viewed, and interactions with website features. Google Analytics
may use first-party cookies, including the _ga cookie, to distinguish users and sessions.
Google Analytics may receive an IP address during collection to provide the service and derive approximate location information. According to Google, Google Analytics 4 discards the IP address before the data is logged or stored. Analytics information is used to measure website performance, identify technical problems, understand general usage patterns, and improve our content and services.
We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, Google account identifiers, Amazon account identifiers, passwords, or other directly identifying account information to Google Analytics. Information received through Google or Amazon login is not treated as Google Analytics data.

Google Ads and Advertising
We may use Google Ads and related advertising services to display ads, measure advertising performance, understand conversions, prevent fraud, and improve our marketing efforts. Depending on our configuration and your choices, these services may use cookies or similar identifiers and may process device and browser information, page activity, ad interactions, and conversion events.
Advertising data is separate from the profile information we receive through Google or Amazon login. We do not provide your Google or Amazon login identifier, login email address, or profile name to Google Ads for personalized advertising.
You can manage Google advertising preferences through Google Ads Settings and review Google's advertising privacy information .
Third-Party Sign-In Services
Your use of Google authentication is also governed by Google's terms and privacy practices. Google may process information about your interaction with its authentication service according to the Google Privacy Policy . You can review or remove the connection through your Google Account connections .
Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy , including its Limited Use requirements where applicable.
Amazon
Your use of Login with Amazon is also governed by Amazon's terms and privacy practices. Amazon may process information about your interaction with its authentication service according to the Amazon Privacy Notice . You can review or remove authorization in the Manage Login with Amazon section of your Amazon account.
Removing authorization at Google or Amazon prevents future authentication access from that provider, but it does not automatically delete information already stored in your Aviation Training Experts account. Contact us to request unlinking or deletion of the local account information.
How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information in the traditional sense. Certain privacy laws may define some uses of advertising cookies or similar technologies as a "sale," "sharing," or "targeted advertising." Where applicable, you may have the right to opt out of those activities.
We may disclose information to:
- Hosting, email, security, analytics, advertising, and support service providers
- Google and Amazon as necessary to complete authentication that you request
- Advertising and analytics partners, including Google, where permitted by law
- Professional advisors such as legal, accounting, or security consultants
- Government authorities, regulators, or law enforcement when required by law
- Parties involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets
We do not send your course records, subscription level, or local account password to Google or Amazon as part of social sign-in.
Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain accounts, protect security, satisfy legal and accounting requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. A Google or Amazon provider identifier, provider email address, and associated local account details may be retained while the account or provider connection remains active.
OAuth access tokens used during Google or Amazon sign-in are processed temporarily and are not retained in our application database after authentication is complete. Analytics and advertising information may be retained according to our configured retention periods and the policies of the applicable provider.
Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include encrypted HTTPS connections, secure session controls, restricted server credentials, and authentication safeguards. However, no transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
